Ashlyn + Andrew’s Winter Studio Elopement
Ashlyn was a travel nurse going through a transformative time in life, and as a friend, it was so sweet to vicariously live through her, watch her meet Andrew and follow along on their parallel journeys. While they had experienced so many new things together, they quickly realized they found their forever and decided they were ready for the next grand adventure- getting hitched!
When the inquiry about their elopement hit my inbox, you already know I was loosing my marbles! They were open to different locations, but since it was January in SLC, we opted for a dreamy studio shoot. My wonderful friend/florist, Bryn of @honeycomb.floral created some moody winter bouquets, we booked a slot at Studio Noir Noir, and I brought my rug and backdrop to make for the studio elopement of my dreams!
The day of our shoot, I was shocked to see Ashlyn in a striking ballon-sleeved black dress with white boots and Andrew in the deepest maroon suit. Damn- these two looked GOOD!! They were so easy and fun to shoot with which made the time we had in the studio fly by! Their easygoing nature and effortlessly joyful demeanors made capturing this moment in their lives such a treat.
Getting to cull the photos was difficult because of how many lovely images there were while editing the photos was a breeze- they’re both so easy on the eye! As a photographer, it is always so touching when friends trust you with their special days, and for these two, getting to document this milestone in their lives was such an honor.
